Don't be fooled by the unoriginal setting, Lava Layer's gameplay is all-new. In a unique move for a Grandmaster level, there are no advanced movement techniques used here; it's all plain jumps and dashes. That doesn't mean it'll be easy; Lava Layer's enormous moving blocks are mostly covered in spikes, and the movement puzzles are tricky both to solve and to execute.
